Is this another one of TB's tricks? 305s worked out of Manchester for a while, and maybe they carried NSE livery when they first came up north. The heavy old catenary has a look of the early Manchester electrics. I'm going to try Altrincham.
This was actually a planned passenger train as part of Cambridge Rail Day. The 37 was working a loop service around Stratford running round at Enfield Town. This is actually the end on the line and not an empty stock train as it appears.
