Apparently I suck at my own game. I've had six straight wrong answers - although that can be explained by them having all been northern locations. I haven't done that much bus station spotting you know! :p

Unless (a) it and another look almost identical or (b) it has had a massive makeover in the last 18 months.

Not Stockport, Not Wigan

Clues (I need to get some work done!): This bus station has services to both of those places, and to the other bus station in the same settlement...

BTW: I aint a bus spotter... I just know the routes ;)

Duh.

I'm going to say Bolton Bus/Rail Interchange, or whatever it's called, just in case. But gnolife may well be right.

We're at the main one, not the one at the Interchange (I think its Bolton Great Moor Street)

Correct...

"Bolton Moor Street Bus Station"

Has the 500, 517, 575 and a few others to Bolton Interchange

22 to Stockport

God knows how many to Wigan...

540, 575 to name the main ones.

Eventually I'll be less lazy and go for one not in SELNEC ;)

I'll pick up the Open floor I missed earlier then. Why do I think this will take either no time at all or ages? :|

N.B.: Picture has been edited slightly since initial upload.

Sorry- Internet cut out. I will be away for a little while imminently though because I shall be doing some cooking.

None of those is correct. My point about the south was a bluff - this bus station is south of the A14.

I see a Greggs and Coral in the background… and that really helps.

However you say the A14, which is specific to east England — unless you're bluffing again.

Southend?

By south of the A14 I meant it is south of the A14 corridor, running right through to the M5 via the M6 and M42. But I didn't mention as much - and yes, it is east of the M1 as should be true of what I said, and I mean M1 as opposed to the trajectory of it right down to the Channel; this places it in the northern Home Counties and/or southern East Anglia. But it is not Southend (as stated previously), and Ipswich is technically north of the A14. (Further to that last point, Ipswich has two bus stations, and Southend has a "Travel Centre" and an Interchange. Simply saying "Ipswich" or "Southend" is not really enough.)

I'm sure I've passed through here en route from Southend to Stansted Airport... = Chelmsford

Not Stevenage. This location's name comes before Stevenage alphabetically - and not only marginally as is true with Southend either.

...

On the other hand, W-on-Sea has turned up and used local knowledge to spoil it. Chelmsford is correct. My next clue would have been that it has a direct service to precisely one bus station used previously in this game (Harlow).

Not my pic, but here's another one I have local knowledge of. Any takers?
