Some people have been finding out very quickly. I found out exactly a week later, so don't take the waiting time as any sort of good or bad news - it all depends on how busy they are at head office.

Had interview at 10 am this morning and just had an email saying I've passed and now in the talent pool ! ! .
Just off to read the email again........dos I can't quite believe it

Well done guys, still awaiting my invite to interview, I passed stage 2 on the Friday of week 1 (17th July). Was called and emailed on the 20th but have had nothing since, did anyone get any clues as to when the DMIs will be completed by?

Passed the DMI I only had it yesterday as well, they got back really quick! So just waiting on a date for the medical now!

Alex - I would suggest calling them. It is the time people go on there summer holidays so I'm sure they will accommodate you if they can.

I'm away at the minute. I let Ronke know this on the phone as I'm awaiting a date for my dmi also.

lucky i didn't buy the plane tickets...got a letter this morning saying my DMI was next friday

I'm in the "talent pool" and am just happy I am now awaiting a start date. Bedford is were I applied for and I'm presuming due to a lack of DI's course have been set back as they are split between TL and GN......i was told maybe Oct but there would be other courses running in 2016.

I keep telling myself I have three years till I'm required to re do my medical and I passed that early June 2015.....

I was asked at DMI what depot would be my choice, I said Bedford but if Hitchin was available, both stations are equidistant from where I live.

Since then I haven't heard which I would be based at, altho I did say at HR after medical during an informal chat, I live near Bedford.

But that's me saying that, not them ( I could end up with Hitchin for all I know !! )

I was scheduled a DMI end of May but was in Greece. I emailed, explained situation, and it was changed no fuss.

People not getting medicals now only after they are placed on courses noone automatically having medicals as before change of policy perhaps but logically they will surely use up us guys who have already passed medicals first

Ah ok thats new to me, you must have your sources for information!

I have no idea why they changed their policy, but their must be a good reason, i wouldnt start think about that too much!...maybe start date info is imminent

In a way I'm glad to hear that but still hoping we all get placed I had my medical back in May/June can't remember it seems so long ago
