Not sure whether to put it here or in 'Other Transport', but that sub-forum seems to be mainly to do with roads, and this is sort of a railway technically speaking, and a very light one
So, there's this thing on Greenwich Pier. Its function seems to be to provide disabled/wheelchair access to the pier. I have only ever seen it acknowledged once, on a very early BenoBVE website, where he refers to it as the 'Greenwich Pier Funicular'. Despite this it doesn't really look like one, particularly as it's not much of an incline, and the system that it runs on doesn't seem that much like a funicular, in fact it looks almost like a stair lift. Since that website was made (quite a while back), it closed for a long time and was possibly even removed during the refurbishment of the pier, but since then has come back. I have never seen it work, although it does appear to be in use, and I know absolutely nothing about how it works either. Thus I was wondering if anyone did have any details about what this thing actually is, and how it works? Thanks in advance.
