Anyone done the SJT and waiting to hear about Southend Vic? Either depot or mainline?
Also not heard anything since SJT, applied for Southend Vic.

It’s my first time applying for a trainee driver role, sounds like it can be a very long process from what I’ve read on here.

I received an email on 19th November stating that I had passed Stage 1 and they will be in touch with dates for Stage 2. Not heard anything as yet.

Guys can anyone clarify is greater anglia pass rate for OPC national or enhanced?

Guys is greater anglia national pass rate?

I passed stage one opc with emr and today I got email from wmt stating I failed the tea occ test

When I didn’t - is this down to wmt being enhanced?

Emr confirmed I passed so is this down to the pass rate?

Thanks any advice would be great

GA is enhanced with DFFT as an extra test.
Unlike national, enhanced has no definition so could be higher or lower than WMT for the tea-occ.

Anyone else still patiently waiting? I applied for Colchester - Trainee Mainline Driver. Done my SJT on either 12th or 13th November but haven’t heard anything since.

I did notice the Colchester role above did close early so I’m hoping it’s just sheer volume of applicants and they’re slowly working their way through them.

Either way, nail biting and constant email and online portal checking resumes for another day. Not forgetting to check the junk mailbox either just in case something slips through the net…!!

I applied for the Colchester one too. Completed my SJT at the same time as you and still heard nothing yet either.

Had my stage 1 assessments today, applied for Southend Vic mainline. Thought everything went fairly well, only one bit tripped me up (got stuck on one of the questions for a memory test) so I’m crossing my fingers for a good result.

Yeah did wonder if everyone there was for the same depot, and mainline or depot at that. Don’t think anyone asked! Hopefully there’s a few spots they’re looking to fill then otherwise I’m not so sure on my chances haha

You've got more chance than most of us it seems as we are still 'under considerstion'!

Timescales can be long. I waited 3 months after applying before I had an interview and got offered a different job than the one I had applied for. Hang in there

I must've been at the same testing as you yesterday, did wonder if anyone from here was there as when I spoke to people nobody seemed that prepared past the practice material sent. I did ask a few on the break and everyone there was for Southend vic mainline or shunter.

How did you find it all? I’m glad I found an online Group Bourdon test to practice and a few similar tone audios so I knew roughly what to look out for. Hope everything went alright for you!

I think it went quite well thanks, hopefully we both pass! I practiced the group bourdon and think it definitely helped, same with the TEA-OC I saw someone say to use your hand to count for part 3 and made it so much easier.

Can I ask when you completed your SJT please mimoma? I’ve also applied for Southend vic but not heard anything sadly

I read through a past thread for greater anglia recruitment and thought there were a few things of interest. Firstly that they seem to prioritise a depot for whatever reason (maybe being understaffed in the short/medium term) and in this case in seems Southend vic. Secondly that they'll recruit in stages so with 2 dates available for assessment 1 with 12 spaces each (2 didn't show for the one I attended though) those who pass will go onto the second assessment then DMI then be offered the job if successful. If all the jobs aren't filled then they'll start again so if you've completed the sjt and haven't had an email saying you've failed you're either for a less priority depot or not involved in this first round.
