I read through a past thread for greater anglia recruitment and thought there were a few things of interest. Firstly that they seem to prioritise a depot for whatever reason (maybe being understaffed in the short/medium term) and in this case in seems Southend vic. Secondly that they'll recruit in stages so with 2 dates available for assessment 1 with 12 spaces each (2 didn't show for the one I attended though) those who pass will go onto the second assessment then DMI then be offered the job if successful. If all the jobs aren't filled then they'll start again so if you've completed the sjt and haven't had an email saying you've failed you're either for a less priority depot or not involved in this first round.
That kinda sums up why I haven’t heard anything from the 8/11 lol. It’s annoying though, having to wait so long just to know what’s next. I applied for the ilford depo but I’m yet to see anyone state that they’ve been contacted for that depo so keeping fingers crossed.

Hi Brick79, thanks for the info. It makes sense to prioritise depots where there’s more staff requirement. Hopefully as I’ve still not yet heard anything it doesn’t mean I’ve failed, just that the depot I applied for wasn’t as high a priority. Doesn’t stop me checking my emails every hour though…!!

Thank you for the info! Very interesting. Hoping I haven’t failed the sjt, although now I can no longer log into the application portal for some reason

I’ve just been informed I didn’t pass the depot driver online test which I did 2 weeks ago. This was for Norwich.

Hi,
I applied on the 12th and did the online assessment on the 20th.
I was contacted by hr for proof of disability... is that a good sign?

Not heard anything back since, when was the cut off date? The 15th?

I mentioned it earlier in the thread but I cant login through the website only through the email I first got when I applied so maybe try that?
Just got the rejected email. We move onto the next
Sorry to hear that did see on the last thread a current ga driver say they're looking to recruit 60-120 drivers over the next year, also in a different thread someone said their training facilties are flat out so keep your eyes open might only be a few months till they advertise again

Anyone else waiting for clacton? I applied for depot and mainline. Got asked to do the SJT for both, but yet to get the result.
I’ve also noticed on my account today that the depot application has changed from under consideration to application withdrawn. I’ve certainly not done that, and I’ve emailed recruitment to ask for clarification, but does anyone have any experience as to why that might have happened? Many thanks.

Hi there, I applied for both of these as well. When I Iog in they are showing as under consideration still, but not heard anything since SJT.

Makes me feel better that I’m not the only one who hasn’t heard. Just concerns me that one of them is now saying withdrawn, when I certainly didn’t withdraw the application. Hopefully recruitment don’t take too long to get back to me.

I applied for Southend Vic and completed SJT on the 13/11 and still haven't heard anything since... still hopeful but not expecting anything now to be honest.

How long is customary before sending an email asking if there’s any update regarding your SJT results..!!

Thought it might be a while before they picked any dates but got an email just now, the 3 dates are next Wednesday-Friday. Would’ve chosen Friday but that went while I was deciding! Bit of a trek to Watford so will head up the day before so not in a mad rush the morning of.

The Premier Inn is only a short walk from the test centre, so highly recommend staying there.

Also, maybe they’ve got heaters in now, but when I did my assessment back in January it was so cold I could see my own breath inside the building. Was incredibly distracting.

Congrats. Does it say they will be in touch with a date? If you don't mind me asking which area did you apply?
Yes it did and I applied for Southend vic
Congrats! I also received the email saying I’ve passed and will be contacted when there’s a date for stage 2
