Everyone has had more than sufficient opportunity to share their points of view. This thread is now going around in circles and people are getting personal and no longer discussing this issues at hand.

This thread is therefore locked until further notice. Once it has been tided up consideration will be given to re-opening it for further discussion.

I have trimmed the thread going back as far as I can manage tonight. I have tried to keep the progression of the discussions clear as I am sure I am not the only one who will find the way the story unfolded over the last few pages, well, let's say "amusing".

As neither side has been able to persuade the other, and both sides have had plenty of opportunities to put their arguments across, the thread will remain closed.

Anyone with any other worthwhile topics to discuss, please do so in a separate thread.
