800002 is definitely in GWR green, I saw it in platform 15 at Temple Meads with 800001 today working 5Z19 North Pole to Highbridge Loop.

153372 is no longer in GWR green. It was at Liverpool South parkway today in EMT colours.

I’m currently on the ex-Northern 150! It’s in use on the 17.37 departure from Bath to Portsmouth, presumably strengthening between Cardiff and Westbury. I have a couple of pics too, will upload in due course.

It is working all day with 158798 today instead of coming off this morning and attaching for the evening peak. This has respectfully, nothing to do with GWR Livery even though 207 hasn't got GWR livery yet.

It’s actually got “GWR” branding on top of the purple livery. I actually kind of like it!

Does anyone know the identity of the unit that went from Reading to Wolverton yesterday?

http://www.realtimetrains.co.uk/train/O24943/2018/07/30/advanced

I guess it is one of 165125/136/137 as they are the last three in FGW Dynamic Lines livery. There seems to have been a planned opposite working but I am not sure whether it has happened yet. Thank you for any assistance

165137 went to Wolverton.
165134 was supposed to return but the move was cancelled, no technical issues, I believe it was ‘paperwork’ related problems.

Usually when a 165 returns from Wolverton to Reading, another one makes the opposite journey. So does anyone know if 165125 or 165136 have made that journey? Thank you.

165136 was meant to go out to play this afternoon when I went home.

165125 is stopped at Reading depot awaiting a move to Wolverton - there are a few hurdles been thrown down by LNW(S) route that have necessitated a change in mode of transport for the remaining moves.

165125 is currently in two halves. Each half is sat on a low loader in Reading TCD waiting to depart, to Wolverton, by road sometime today.

Depending on the exact reason, it is a crying shame that it is necessary to resort to road movement for rail vehicles such as this. What, may I ask, is the reason it cannot travel by rail?

North Wembley Jct renewals this weekend, meaning no traffic at all on the WCML within London.

I hope the roads authority don't suddenly impose an out of gauge restriction under that bridge - must be even tighter for a returning unit with air-cooling grills on the roof ;)

A quick resumé on the Sprinters:
150/0s: Both in GWR Green, and PRM-compliant. New interiors, but no USB sockets.
150/1s: Only two remain with GWR (150125, 150126) - both in FGW Plain Blue, and both are due to head north fairly soon.
150/2s: All in GWR Green with the exceptions of 150207 (in Northern Rail violet/indigo), plus 150219 & 150238, which are both in FGW Plain Blue. All are PRM-compliant (with the exceptions of 150202, 150207 & 150216: AFAIK, 150233 is the only GWR Green unit without the finalised interior & all the mod cons.
153s: All have gone to either EMT or Northern with the exceptions of 153325 (Citizens Rail), 153329 (FGW Plain Blue), 153333 (Visit South Devon), 153361 (FGW Plain Blue) and 153369 (also FGW Plain Blue). These will also leave before December.
158s: 158763, 158954, 158955, 158958, 158959 & 158960 remain in First "Local Lines" livery; all others are in GWR Green with PRM mods, new interiors, charging points etc.

Do let me know of any corrections/additions/changes.

The /0s had the new interiors when they were at Reading, but they didn't have the plug sockets.

I thought the last 5 153s leave in May 2019 for transfer to Wales & Borders?

It could well be then; apologies for the oversight. The use of them by ScotRail has bike/luggage vans has been mooted elsewhere on the forum, but there are the WMT and Greater Anglia 153s to consider too.
