If it does, in fact, run on 18th it certainly won't be via Shrewsbury as the route is closed between there and Newport due to Engineering Work.

They are passed to work to St Ives and have done on a few occasions in the past, however they are not passed for the bay platform at St Erth.

I'm just going from what I have heard from various sources. Also the words MOST, mean that maybe the older sets that will leave first will remain in blue?

The stock isn't the only thing that's changed, those 47s are now owned by the ROG.

Nope, these are just the HST's that GWR will be keeping till 2020/2021, some sets are going quicker than others. As far as I know, once the first IEP set starts service in Summer 2017, they will start phasing the HST's out. But they will still need a few and this is the second of two sets that GWR will clearly be 'saving till last'.

Your list only seems to have 117 powercars, not the full 119 that I think are leased by FirstGWR. I think 43037 and 43125 are the ones you are missing.

No, in fact the service via the B&H is due to see some frequency enhancements once the full Electric timetable is introduced.

Not as far as I know, if anything I think it is more likely that all PLY/PNZ - PAD services will run via Westbury in future. I believe the plan is to fire up the underfloor engines on the new class 802 units bound for Penzance at Reading or Newbury.

That might not be correct - GWR have been investigating 2+4 and 2+5 HST sets for post 2020 West services.

They've done some timing runs already, but I think they want to see what's found when the first ScotRail bound stock goes off for power door fitment and general overhaul before fully committing.
