The 180s currently under test are for the new Bradford services commencing in December 2009 and not at this stage to provide technical backup for any failed Sunderland services, so in short it won't resolve their current problems. It's unfortunate as I know how much IY cares, the Company deserves to prosper.
Snap. I've heard exactly the same
Any GC sources care to comment?
Crikey,Slightly misinformed there Im afraid, the 180 at heaton will be used on the 4th path from Sun - Kx in the summer once all staff have been trained on them.(Im the 1st driver to learn them soon !)

So Bradford - London all 180s
Sunderland - London HST's and 180s
Will the 180s and HST's have equal facilites?
what do u mean?
Will the 180's offer the same onboard services (i.e Wifi, Buffet, Trolley, 1st Class catering) as the HST's currently do, and will it be the same across both routes.
Arnt chess boards a GC thing
the chess boards are a gc thing but br western region mk 1 coaches also them
the adelantes should have most of the things that the hst's have eg wifi and first class
so gc are testing an adelante at the moment
anyone got a photo
is it in gc livery or unbranded fgw?
It looks cool when it glistens in the sunshine tooUnbranded FGW.
