I have started to travel on GC trains in the last couple of months and i have nothing bad to say about them at all.

I have only been late into Sunderland about 10 mins at max on a couple of my trips and on time with all the others trips.

They are great and also there staff are great as well so to the people on here that say they have never heard anything good about them WELL YOU HAVE NOW!!!!

The 180s currently under test are for the new Bradford services commencing in December 2009 and not at this stage to provide technical backup for any failed Sunderland services, so in short it won't resolve their current problems. It's unfortunate as I know how much IY cares, the Company deserves to prosper.

Slightly misinformed there Im afraid, the 180 at heaton will be used on the 4th path from Sun - Kx in the summer once all staff have been trained on them.(Im the 1st driver to learn them soon !)
