These days kids just say "Oh my! I'm not getting done for that. Get my mate done 'cos he did it. I din't do it... Am I bovered? My Mum & Dad say I don't have to do detentions anyway so you can't keep me back." and they can't be made to clean desks either! Also "it's the cleaners job" to clear up.:roll:When I was at school if you did something like this and was caught you would get detention and be made to clean all the desks.

Actually you wil find that the sort of kids who do vandalism, graffiti and other unsociable acts will quite often, generally react the way I described. Not always, but a lot would. I am surprised you include yourself (by the use of the word "us") in that, I wouldn't have thought you would be responsible for graffiti!Rather stereotypical of you there yorkie. Just because it's what some of us young people do, it doesn't mean all of us have done it, or did do it, or will do it, some of us are sensible.

I'd describe it as idiotic. If he got it wrong, someone's got to clear up the mess. Not nice.everyone knew how daring he was
He owns none of it.to get his name around on the land he "owned",
I have more respect for any random single celled organism than I do for him.thus showed him respect.

the 'TOX' branding's coming to mind, everyone knew how daring he was to get his name around on the land he "owned", thus showed him respect.
As for on public transport, it shows a sense of "ownership", with the 'TOX' branding's coming to mind, everyone knew how daring he was to get his name around on the land he "owned", thus showed him respect.
(Remember the kid who died in Glasgow when he fell trying to graffiti a railway bridge?)
Perhaps they should sue the Highways Agency for not fencing off all roads adequately?
