Possibly, yes. But (a) some will be redeemable; and (b) by preventing the creation of more, it makes room in the penal system to do something about the ones who are not.Ultimately if you get off on posting videos of dangerous driving etc there's a fair argument that you're beyond saving anyway. In my town there is a big problem with balaclava'd teenagers stealing motorbikes, riding them dangerously around town and filming the whole process for social media.
But I don't ascribe to the "beyond saving" argument since 99% of the time if you ask people why they do these things, the answer you'll get will be some variant on "Because". Most of the time they engage in this kind of behaviour out of a sense of nihilism - they think that they don't matter and the social media "clout" is they only way that they can feel like they get any attention.
