Whernside?
Not Where's idea

I was of the belief that nothing in England qualified as a mountain. Hopefully someone will explain.
It all depends on what definition you want to try and use, the most common one I have seen is higher than 600 metres, in which case England has many mountains.
In any case this is a quiz on a forum and I am reasonably sure that most people will understand the meaning of mountain in the question.

Was going to suggest 'Cross Fell', located somewhere up North and along the Pennine Way, but maybe that's also in Cumbria?!
Cross Fell is the highest mountain in England outside the Lake District but us still in Cumbria.

The Cheviot in Northumbria? Though I call it Northumberland (and use feet and inches).
Is the correct answer.

You may now climb up and set a new question, or summit

Somewhere in Norway? Trondheim perhaps?

Well, yes and no. It is in Norway, but not Trondheim.

By coincidence I watched a you tube video yesterday where the bloggers were in Tromso and they mentioned the university there being the most northerly, so assuming they are correct my answer is Tromso.

You are quite correct: it is in Tromsø.

To you to educate us with another question.

Well, I remember it wasn't Mandela's. Queen Juliana of the Netherlands (Beatrix's mum)?

OK, if Juliana was close, then you can't get much closer to the Netherlands than Belgium, so King Baudoin?
