You do have the actual area, but the indigenous people in question inhabit one particular island and have forbidden entry to people attempting to land there. An American missionary who paid fishermen to take him there was killed by an arrow and his body burnt on the island shoreline area and the body never recovered. The Indian government will not take action against any of the islanders when deaths occur.

That is the correct island. I only knew about the indiginous people from reading of the death of the American missionary.

The only connection I can think of is for Charlotte Bronte and Lowry.
She wrote a novel called Valette and he had an art teacher called Valette.
No idea about how this might tie in with the other two so it is probably incorrect.

I think I can guess from that and the previous reply what Psalm 138 is, and therefore what the connection is, but I haven't got anything prepared so I will not make an entry and will let someone else get in with it...

It is Psalm 138 connection that is my biggest problem on this question and it is a psalm that is well known to me....
Some years ago, I visited La Villette, the large urban park, during a visit to Paris.

No wonder that the deepest delving into the possible hidden meanings an any psalm I have ever attempted, did achieve nothing that could be of assistance to me....when Psalm 138 was mentioned as a clue.....
