I'm afraid not, the series ran for a total of 13 episodes. Burt Kwouck regularly appeared as assistant to the principal character, who travelled worldwide in operating his business, sometimes getting into difficult and even dangerous situations

I must admit that not only had I never heard of the programme, I had never heard of the star in the sense of being an actor. Curiously, I had come across his name a few days ago in connection with his wife’s ex-husband’s next wife’s hometown (that is correct…I think).

Doesn't look like anyone will give the correct answer which is Episode 9 "A Most Desirable Plot" of The Sentimental Agent.

The series was a spin off from another series, Man of the World, regarding the adventures of an international photographer Michael Strait. Carlos Varela (or Barela), is introduced when Strait visits Cuba, is arrested on the grounds of taking photographs within a restricted area, and turns to Varela for help.

In The Sentimental Agent, Varela runs Mercury International, an Import Export agency. In this episode, he has agreed to provide prefabricated houses to a property developer in the Bahamas, but purchasers of the building plots soon discover the land is useless for building on. as it is a swamp. Varela travels to the site to sort the problem out, as his company is blamed for the situation. On arrival, he finds one of the purchasers is a retired Army officer (played by Donald Southerland) and his charming daughter Franci (Diana Rigg).

Varela decides to solve the problem by appealing to the developer's greed. He has an American friend, who is into oil exploration take samples from the site. The developer takes the bait, the purchasers get their money back, and Franci agrees to that dinner date with Varela as she now no longer thinks he is dishonest.
