Was it Weybridge to Worplesdon? (Is this question in the correct thread?)
Which is correct, West Weybridge was reanmed Byfleet & New Haw in 1962, breaking the run of 6.....or even Walton-on-Thames to Worplesdon (before West Weybridge was renamed Byfleet & New Haw).
No and yes....in that order! Anyone know the first capital city?Venice and Florence?
Correct. Your turn to don a red shirt and follow Garibaldi!Turin/Torino.
Sorry not Gingerbread.Gingerbread?
Your turn on the stage! It would indeed.Would it be the name Engelbert Humperdinck
Coronation streetTo explain
Englebert Humperdinck was a German composer, best known for his opera Hansel & Gretel
Gordon Mills invented stage names for some of the singers he managed including Tom Jones, Gilbert O'Sullivan, and EH
The asteroid is self explanatory
To stay with stage and screen, what is reckoned to be Diana Rigg's first major TV role, and it was not Emma Peel in The Avengers. She appeared in one episode of a series of 13 in 1963
Yes, also Cato, Clouseau's manservant.Would that perhaps be Burt Kwouk of "Entwistle Electrical" fame in "Last of the Summer Wine" with Diana Rigg as "Auntie Wainwright" (standing in for Jean Alexander in just that one episode to which you refer?)
That’s the one! Over to you.Operation Candid. Traditional Royal Residences would NOT have been used.
Here's a quickie.Open Floor please
You must have been ogling, your turn...The girl from Ipanema?
