Which of these is the odd one out and why?

Mr Blobby
Jim Bowen
Ronnie Corbett
Cliff Richard
Bill Roache
Sooty
They've all been number one at something, except Sooty who hasn't had a Number One.

Mr Blobby - no 1 Christmas single
Jim Bowen - no 1 TV show (Bullseye)
Ronnie Corbett - no 1 TV show
Cliff Richard - no 1 Christmas single
Bill Roach - no 1 longest lasting actor in a soap

I'd give you Blobby, Cliff Richard and Bill Roache but I'm not convinced of the other 2.

I will add a couple more names to the list (non of these are the odd one out)
Anne Kirkbride
Michael Parkinson.
A bit random but have they all worked with Peter Kay? I remember both being in the Amarillo cover he did, along with Bill Roache, and Jim Bowen was in Phoenix Nights. I'd guess the odd one out as Sir Cliff.

Spot on. A look alike Cliff Richard did appear in the video but not the real one!
Your turn to go to Amarillo.

Who were the eight goalkeepers who played for the England football team (men's, full internationals) during the 1980s?

Dave Beasant??
Gary Bailey
Nigel Spink (one cap wonder)
Yes to all 5 of these, and as you have the most it's your turn between the sticks.

The other 3; Clemence, Corrigan and Seaman were named by Peterthegreat and MotCo. Phil Parkes should have played more but Don Revie annoyed him in the 70s. Nigel Martyn was 90s.

I imagine lots of people in Wales are named David Davies. But by what name did the one who was born in 1893 become famous?
