It was indeed homemade, the invention of one Henri Mignet (not to say that there have been other homemade aircraft). Mignet promoted aviation for the people, one theory of the origin of the name referred to the Model T Ford Pou de la Route. "If you can nail up a packing case, you can build an airplane", he proclaimed.
It is estimated that over 1,000 Fleas were built in the UK, France, and the USA. Mignet had no training in aviation and claimed the designers and manufacturers of aircraft were simply out to make money. His first designs never got off the ground
Mignet crossed the channel in his Flea, after having crashed en route, wrecking the engine, and Pou fever took off. There was a meeting for Flea owners, where most never got airborne. They should be thankful. because the Flea had one fatal flaw - the design of the tandem wings was such, that when descending, one had to be careful as the stick force reversed, the tail would lift and the aircraft was liable to go into a nosedive. Usually, this meant crashing into the ground, but if at a sufficient altitude it would end up flying upside down, whereupon it was so stable that it was virtually impossible to right it.
Pou fever ended after several fatalities.

Neither marriage was the 1st choice? Arthur died so then Henry VIII and her got married. This was to supposedly prevent war and cement anglo-spanish relations. Then Charles 1st wasnt supposed to inherit throne his older brother was, but he died and there was some shenanigans with the Spanish so Charles ended up marrying the French bird Henrietta Maria.

Arthur did marry Catherine.
I can see the good logic in your answer, it was not uncommon for royal betrothal to fall apart due to various political reasons.
But that is not the answer in this case.

As an additional piece if information you the same connection applies to the marriage of Margaret Tudor and James IV if Scotland.

They did become queen, albeit for Catherine after she married Arthur's brother Henry.
