This was a plaque unveiled but it was different because it actually named the women ordained. I think before it has just named the bishop or whoever who performed the ordination of women.

I will accept that.
The event was the ordination if the first female Church of England priests.
32 women were ordained.
As Gralistair said initially the plaque commemorating the event only fave the name of the two men conducting the ordination :rolleyes:
The plaque was changed recently and now lists the names of the 32 women.

The pulpit is yours.

Which bird holds the world record for the longest non stop flight, how many miles and where from and to

Very close. The birds, indeed migrate between Alaska and NZ, it however has not been proven that one bird has made the entire journey without stopping. Here in the UK, it is a wader in the US a shorebird. The person concerned resides in New Zealand and has fitted tracking devices to several of these birds.
AS for penguins and kiwis, haha (what do you call a penguin in the Arctic? Lost, because penguins are only found in the Antarctic. Kiwis cannot fly at all)

So how far did the bird fly from Alaska until it stopped, where did it stop, and what species?

Penguins can actually be found in the Northern Hemisphere! See "Galapagos Penguin".

Yes, 8108 miles. so we need the species and where it took a break from its journey before the last leg to New Zealand.

I'm going to emphasise that this is the longest recorded non stop flight, other birds such as terns may migrate from the arctic to the antarctic in the course of their lives. And to rewrite a penguin joke

Yes, the question is basically answered, the longest recorded non stop flight for a bird is a bar tailed Godwit between Alaska and New South Wales Australia, a distance 0f 8108 miles.
