That was a pure guess as I know next to nothing about motor racing. However, I can put one question on the starting grid.

Graham Hill and his son Damon always wore the same helmet design. Why did Graham Hill chose the design?

It represented his rowing club, I don't know the name of the club but I think it was on the Thames.

Mel Brooks’ film Silent Movie is often listed as the film with the shortest dialogue, i.e. one where something is actually said. It contains only one three-letter word, but who said it?

I remember Ian Carmichael in Lord Peter Whimsey, but can't recall if Wendy Craig was in it.

The only programme with Wendy Craig that I can think of was Not in Front of the Children, but I thought that was Ronald Hines (a much underestimated actor). Although I have a faint feeling that he may have taken over from somebody else as the husband.

Yes Ronald Hines was Wendy Craigs husband in Not in Front of the Children.

This programme I'm looking for was on from 2003 till 2011.

That would be the Royal, a spin off from Heartbeat (and had some of the Heartbeat characters making an appearance,) a medical drama. She was Matron

You are correct with all your details.

Most of the cast of Heartbeat featured in The Royal as it was in the fictional town of Elsinby not far from Aidensfield, the hospital
was 'St Aidan's Royal Free Hospital' hence the title of the show.

The surgical baton is handed to you for the next question.....

The large blue?, based on its unusual life cycle

Doesnt it pretend to die as a caterpillar, get carried away by ants, then eat the ant larvae in the nest?

You are essentially right, in that the large blue caterpillar starts out eating leaves, then one day it falls to the ground and imitates an ant larva, with the aim of being carried into an ant's nest of one particular species where it feeds off ant pupae until it pupates itself. The ants are not always fooled, many caterpillars are identified as such and killed.
