I asked what connects a bridge, an actress, a play and a bazaar? The 'bazaar' was Harper's Bazaar, so I am now looking for a link beween a bridge, an actress and a play which also somehow links in with Harper.

By chance, the answer was also an answer on last night's Only Connect, using similar clues (but I asked first!).

I own myself to be somewhat bewildered (and / or maybe not very bright). @MotCO: I interpreted your previous words to two contestants, re "Harper" -- "Yes, that's the bazaar, but it is not the link" -- to mean that the link was neither "Harper" nor "bazaar"; but something else. Now it seems we're being told that "Harper" is the link, after all ... some energetic Googling has furnished me with a possible list of four "Harper" things including the Bazaar; but this result seems to me both abstruse, and highly random -- and there appear to be half a million actresses of various degrees of fame, with the surname Harper -- plus, get the feeling that that amount of search-engine-ing should be seen as a disqualification. I feel totally stymied here ...

Not sure of the exact details but didn't one of the civil rights marches in the US involve a Selma bridge or bridge over the Selma and is the actress Selma Hyak (sp?)?

Helyes ! As I understand, "correct" in Hungarian -- overall biggest of Europe's non-I-E outliers -- Finnish and Estonian, the other two.
