Thank you.

A geography question.

In the EU, Germany has the largest population, followed by France. Which countries occupy positions 3,4,5 and 6. The winner will be the person who gets all four countries in the right order.
I'll take a stab with Italy, Spain, Poland and the Netherlands?

4 correct answers in the correct order. Please take the floor.
Thank you. I think my footy questions generated a bit of interest yesterday so here are three more football questions - all to do with Brazil.

a) This Brazilian footballer scored a total of 131 goals in 1,237 first class games for his one and only club. Can you name him and what was so remarkable about his achievement?

b) Which Brazilian footballer is the all-time record goal scorer in FIFA World Cup finals with 17 goals?

c) Because of a fixture backlog, which Brazilian club (Intercontinental Cup winners) played three Championship league matches on the same day in December 1994 using a total of 34 different players?

a) This is, I think, the free-scoring goal keeper, Rogerio (can't pronounce the name). Played for Sao Paolo.
b) Ronaldo the First.
c) is a total guess - Santos.

b) then I think we're talking the women's record. Marti(?). I think she's recently retired. I can't think of any other female Brazilian player.
c) Fluminese - another guess.

c) Fluminense - another guess.
b) Correct. Marta with 17 goals in Women's World Cup finals. In Men's Finals, its Ronaldo with 15 followed by Pelé with 12.
c) Incorrect. Fluminense (unlike their Rio arch rivals Flamengo) have never won a major international title. The correct answer is Grêmio Foot-Ball Porto Alegrense (Grêmio) who won the Intercontinental Cup Final (against Hamburg SV) in 1983. Incidentally, in the 3 games which Grêmio played on the same day (!!!!), they won 2 and drew the third!

As you have 2 correct answers, the pitch is yours!

It's actually Netherlands (not Holland).

As a youngster playing Junior 20 overs a side cricket back in the late 60's, we used to call it Tonk cricket (tonk meaning to hit the ball hard). I've often wondered where they got the name T20 from - and now I know. There's cricket.......and there's Cricket.

10. I think this is the Adelaide Oval. I know there's a 'Hill' end but not certain about the hospital.
