Yes you are correct - Nick with Every Loser wins - Telly with If & David with Dont give up on us & Silver LadyNumber 1 hits?
1 Isle of Wight
2. Na h-Eileanan an Iar
3. Ross, Skye and Lochaber
4. Cities of London and Westminster
I reckon it is Q4 I've got wrong so I'll try Westminster North
Q4: I've seen this on TV- North London, Camden area so I'll plump for Starmer's consistency Holborn and St Pancras.
I like your thinking but no. Speaker Hoyle only received 67.3% of the vote.Chorley - the speakers seat?
You might think that. I couldn't possibly comment. If not - surely it is somewhere in the Northwest?
It is in Liverpool.I have no idea where but I am going to say it must be a Liverpool Constituency. I would have at one time said South or North Fylde for the Conservatives but I don't think so anymore. Cant remember its exact name but where the Ford Plant is - Halewood or Garston I think.
Vote early, vote often. Not often enough to take the crown.I'm wondering if it is in Scotland due to the SNP vote - so maybe one of the Glasgow seats? Or alternatively, Northern Ireland can be quite polarised so it may be there.
Damn you beat me to it. I was going to say WavertreeThe Liverpool seat that's the home of caber-tossing - Wavertree?
That's the one!Could it be Eric Heffer's old constituency, Walton?
At a guess, is it anything to do with the fact that sum of the numbers 1 - 12 inclusive total 78? Or to put it another way, to work out the sum of a series of consecutive numbers, add the first and last number in the series, and multiply by the half the number of numbers in the series. (i.e. for the series 1 - 12, add 1 + 12 and multiply by 12/2.)Thank you.
Something mathematical for a change:
What is (or was) the 'Rule of 78'?
A good place to start - but some way to go to get to the rule.
Right ballpark but more building necessary to get to the answer. You might like to think of a practical example.
