Elizabeth Taylor - she voiced a single word for Maggie ("daddy") in the episode "Lisa's First Word" and then appeared as herself in "Krusty Gets Kancelled"

All three are correct, however I shall award the answer to D6975 as he correctly pointed out that Mark Lee and Jan Davis had secretly married a few weeks before the launch of STS-47 and NASA was forced to waive the "no married couples" rule as it would not have been possible to cancel the mission or reassign crews at that point. Of course, I once spoke to one of the other astronauts onboard a few years ago who gave me a slight nod.

This is correct. There are many thousands of people in the entertainment business who change their names - generally to sound a little better. I chose three at random.

Most artists keep their own name, but many choose or are required to change their name for professional purposes - the "rule" of changing your name no longer applies since the mid 80's. Incidentally, I was offered membership in Equity about four years ago

A bit OT but re the Equity thing- I was told the other day at cricket that the mascots you get at cricket, football, rugby etc are not allowed to speak to the crowd (hence the hands on face and other gestures). If they did they would need to be paid as entertainers and get Equity rates. Apparently Equity do send reps to sporting grounds to check up on this!

re: the mascots, I believe that did used to be the case but you don't have to join Equity if you don't want to - I know I refused to join on a matter of principle a few years ago, although I maintain good relations with some of their members
