And it was indeed to Llandudno they withdrew, probably due to the plentiful accommodation. Roughly 5,000 civil servants were lodged in hotels and boarding houses by the end of 1940.

Not really. You need to understand what a Quonset hut is, as you would better know of that type of hut from similar ones with a different name in Britain.
