Doh He was a vocalist for Aussie band Python Lee Jackson can't remember which song. I know he played harmonica on My Boy Lollipop but had forgotten this one!

That's good enough for me, the song was In a Broken Dream (geddit?)

If anyone is wondering about the Mississippi reference, Jackson is it's capital.

Your turn.

Delta Gudrem - If Innocent Eyes was as big a hit in Oz as it was in the rest of the world.

Don't like her myself, but it takes all sorts.

Ah my favorite musical era......
86 John Farnham Whispering Jack.
Delta is second, and Crowded House take third.
Bit of a fan of Australian music (though admittedly not Rolf Harris that much these days).

I'll set a nice easy one, staying with a slightly Aussie theme.

What connects Paul Hogan and James Bradford?

Ok given that both Paul Hogan the actor/comic and Paul Hogan the director (one who did Muriels wedding) are from Oz & Jimmy Nail's real name is James Bradford. Is it 'Oz'

I had thought that that, would come up. The Paul Hogan referred to in the question was born in 1939, you correctly deciphered my small red herring, in that James Bradford does refer to Jimmy Nail. However I didn't have his role in Auf Wiedersehen Pet, in mind when I wrote the question.

Paul Hogan and James Bradford are both actors.

It's a little more specific than that.

Sort these into order, smallest first:

a) The length of the UK motorway network, in miles
b) The length of the UK railway network, in miles
c) The population of Sheerness-on-Sea
d) The length of the Severn Tunnel, in feet
