I was talking to a friend who lives in Australia earlier today and asked her about this. She knew the answer straight away, and the reasoning kind of makes sense

Given these clues I think the answer is Peppa Pig - but god knows what episode or what specific something would get something as innocuous as Peppa Pig banned.

It is a Peppa Pig episode but as @SteveM70 said it's a very unique to Australia reason. And it makes total sense in context.
