Thank you. Apologies for the delay.
Bill Roache is the longest serving soap actor in the UK but who is second longest serving?
Damn... I should know this as I'm sure I read it was someone else from Coronation Street who left not all that long ago...

If a broken service counts, was it Philip Lowrie who played Dennis Tanner?

If it was a continuous service you're looking for, that's the one I should know and I have a feeling I do but I can't quite remember who it is... someone who joined Coronation Street very early on, but not in the first episode, and was in it until a year or two ago... unless it's Barbara Knox ( Rita of many surnames ) who is still current, albeit infrequent...?

Barbara Knox is correct. She first appeared in 1964 and then more or less continously from 1972.
Philip Lowrie only managed ten years in total.
Please cobble together the next question.

With apologies, but as threatened a few days ago I am going to go back to Dallas for this next question!!!

In the original series of Dallas ( 1978 to 1991 ), how many times was JR Ewing shot?

To clarify: I mean as in separate shooting incidents where he was actually hit, not as in the number of times he was hit.

I am sure it was twice, once at the end of season 3 and then the famous shooting by Kirstin Shepherd and we all had to wait nearly 6 months for the reveal, meanwhile Larry Hagman was demanding all sorts in his contract, Lorimer productions threathened to write him out.

Correct, in fact both shootings were in season 3:

Season 3, episode 6 ( episode 35 in the entire series ) - JR is wounded in the leg when a sniper hits him and Jock while they are on a hunting trip.

Season 3, episode 25 ( episode 54 in the entire series ) - this is the famous "Who shot JR?" episode which as you correctly remember ultimately turned out to done by Kristin.

Of side interest, until the reveal was broadcast even the cast did not know "whodunnit" as they had filmed about half a dozen different versions in order to avoid any leaks before broadcast, and subsequent episodes were late edits completed after the reveal - which is why there is very little immediate reference to Kristin's actions.

There was also a comedy clip filmed at Larry Hagman's request which I've only ever seen once and it doesn't appear to be online unless any of you know any different... he had the shooting filmed a second time with multiple gunshots going off, but he doesn't fall to the floor; instead he returns to his desk, stands up at the window saying "Missed!" and has a drink - which promptly squirts out of him in a dozen places, like in a cartoon.

Anyway, it is @444045's turn in the Director's chair.

Well technically never as when they last won there was only one division. However 1973 was the last time they won the whole thing.

PS we was robbed in 74 !
You are correct, it was 1973.

Your turn to open the innings with the next question…….

What did footballer Danny Blanchflower not do on 6 February 1961? (I know that there were numerous things that he didn’t do, but this one is specific.)
