87028 appears to be spending the weekend at Stafford with a crocked 325 set which apparently is a wheelskate move to Wembley. Fun overnight turn for someone there then!
No idea. Only take an interest in the units when they fail.
Then this morning must get you interested, the pair of 319s I was on had their panto's off outside Cricklewood.

That's because they're undergoing a level 5 overhaul programme to make them so much more reliable...so much so that GB have seen the need for two thunderbird locos. :-?

99.9% certain it won't be 86101. What else it is remains to be seen. Could be a seven or an EWS skoda. Whatever happens it will be an electric loco as the pathing is tight.

I've been told that 86101 will return from Doncaster to Crewe on Friday to enable it to run the tour on Saturday.
I'm looking forward to seeing it running through Rugby again just like in the old days.

I was told on Sunday afternoon about it returning for the tour, therefore your info looks to have come after mine.
Is there any reason given for it not returning to run the tour?
