Do let us know how you got on Matt...
I'll never forget that one!
MRS GREN anyone?
IVy Watts anyone?
Errm... its for biology, I think it describes all living organismsI remember that one, but have no idea what it's for!
Luckily, I'm not taking my GSCEs for 2 years (well most of them anyway) as I'm only in year 9!
Shocking revelations here everyone!
I think the S in MRS GREN is sensitivity (to the surrounding environment, ie response)
You get other versions with more in as well, making it fun, but those are the basics...

I thought they started the GCSE syllabus for Science and Maths halfway through Year 9?
Changed the 'S'HST - still depends on which school you're at to varying extents. Local authorities make things even more complicated (don't mistake me for someone who thinks academies are a good idea...)

We've started the syllabus in them but the exam isn't until year 11. English is the only exception where there's an exam in year 10 and 11.

At my school there are 7 compulsary GCSEs:
Also I have chosen three options (compulsary):
- English Lit.
- English Lang.
- Maths
- Chemistry
- Biology
- Physics
- Language 1 (French for me)
Also because I got to the schools astronomy club I get to take the GCSE in that.
- Geography
- Latin
- D.T

SUVAT anyone?
I remember them! About the only thing on my Maths AS-level I was actually any good at. I think I set a new school record for my appalling performance on my Maths AS![]()
My school made us do 2 languages, I did French and German.
I only did that in Physics...
Shall we all have a foreign language rant?
Ah yes - Mechanics of course being a gift of 1/6 of an A-level (1/3 if you did two modules) if you do Physics.
