bit like one of our stupid kettles - the frames are in the running shed getting in the way, the tools are in a wagon which some fool shunted into the deepest darket corner of the yard, and the boiler is away at god knows where for repairs!!

As always, 37412, any help you are willing to offer will be greatly received, as there are plenty of other jobs which need doing on the 37 other than the window.
Unfortunately the loco's in Loughborough, the fitter's in Heywood's Heath and the glass and runners are in Birmingham. Causes a bit of a problem there

I was under the impression that the window was a front end one from reading the maintenance report it appears to be a drivers/secondmans droplight window.

I am pretty busy out bashing and when I get spare time helping out on other things but I do have a few days spare if you want a bit of help, if you could let us know what days are on the cards as working days i'll see what i can do
