FTPE Conductor Application

I recently applied for the FTPE trainee conductor role, I was wandering on how long the application process takes to hear anything back, i know these things are hard to timescale but if anyone on here has applied before how long did it take?

Application went in on the 5/6/13, the online application tracker says awaiting shortlisting still. Anyone know anymore?

Well done to ones who have an interview. Do you mind me asking which station the interviews are for my application is still waiting to be short listed and mine is for liverpool

Just back from my interview and it couldn't have gone any better. I don't need to sit the assessment as I have already done them with FTPE the other year and then the job was put on hold. I just need to wait now :D:D:D:D:D

Hi Matt,

It was the standard questions,i e give me an example when you dealt with an irate customer and what do you know about the role etc.

Had my interview for Manchester this morning.. not sure how it went to be honest lol.. we will see

Hi Matt,

Do you need to do the assessments? I believe they are going to be on the 8 and 9th July. I have already passed mine so I am just waiting for my medical.

So happy! I passed interview and am being sent for assessments next week! Does anyone know if there is another interview at assessment centre?

Has anyone been for an assesment for a Conductor (trainee) for ATW?

I attended a Interview last week which i passed got assesment next Tuesday. The test stuff they sent throu is exactly the same as the assesments i sat for a customer service role back in Easter (which i passed) but on the day the tests varied from the booklet ie the first part of the test we had to listen to a tape and pick out answers is this the case for the conductor assesment?

Just thought would let people know I received an email saying I've got assessments for first rail liverpool on 23rd I'm made up
