Have the updated XC HST diagrams been posted on these fine forums yet? A quick search suggests not, and please point me in their direction if I've overlooked them.

Any chance of the new GWR 180 diagrams now that one of them has gone off to start a new life with Grand Central? Thank you!

From a MR mag, I've heard TPE are trialling the ex-Pretendollino rake in preparation for the new loco-hauled services by the end of this decade.

Perhaps the diagrams for this could be added also?

If and when it goes into passenger service, I will add the diagram :)

Just a quick query if anybody knows what is the scheduled traction for the 1332 from Carlisle to Newcastle and the 1622 from Newcastle to Carlisle on Tuesday as i am travelling on these services and would think they will probably be 156's but i have seen the odd pacer on this line on some trips t Carlisle. In a perverse sort of way i am hoping 1 of them might be pacer operated ;)

Class 156's was the order of the day yesterday on those runs i mentioned although i did see a pacer pass by on the way to Newcastle round the Corbridge area but i checked and seen that this was probably Nunthorpe runs.

I have heard that they are removing the Bubble cars from the Princes Risborough - Aylesbury line in May, which is backed up by the timetable expiring in May. However, Open train times lists it as a 165. Do you know if they are still around? I don't want to get there and be disappointed! :D

Cheers!

Welcome to the forum.

This is probably the wrong thread for this sort of question, this is more of an admin thread for proposing changes to the frequently requested diagrams thread, which is a 'sticky' at the top of the page.

The likely demise of these units from Chiltern from the May timetable change is being discussed here:

Ok - didn't realise that but thanks for the info. The linked thread answers my question anyway.

Thanks!

The link that is provided for the timetable for the GWR Electrostars appears to be broken. Could this be fixed? Thanks

Probably isn't needed anymore as it's an half hourly service for most of the day Mondays to Saturdays.

Not sure on any of the other diagrams, but 1V50 (0606 EDB-PLY), one of the XC HST diagrams that runs all week, arrives in BHM at 1109 and leaves at 1117, as opposed to 1120.

Not sure what you were replying to but in case it's relevant, 1117 is the published ('GBTT') time, actual WTT departure is 1120. Helpful to know this if you're at the top of the stairs at 1118!

If due to the Cheltenham Festival must be positioning alterations. The Festival finishes on Friday

Yes. As 1V64 is a voyager on Friday due to the four sets on other diagrams (1V44, 1V46, 1V50, 1V54 etc) and a set needs to be in Plymouth for Sunday morning

Is it worth mentioning that:

1V01 0500 Birmingham New Street to Cardiff Central (SSuX) (Class 170)
1V71 1707 Edinburgh to Bristol Temple Meads (TWThO) (Voyager)
1M87 2105 Cardiff Central to Birmingham New Street (FSSuX) (Class 170)
1M80 2014 Paignton to Birmingham New Street (FO) (Voyager)
1M89 2150 Cardiff Central to Birmingham New Street (SSuX) (Class 170)

all go via Stourbridge Junction? I believe this is for route knowledge?

I'm afraid they are not booked that way. What dates did you take as there are some occasions when they are diverted for Engineering Work.

I only did a quick search on SBJ in realtimetrains for next week. I know the first one definetly runs on weekdays as I see it on my commute.

Thanks,
Ross

Correct. There are some ECS runs which take a grand tour of the Midlands from New Street to Central Rivers plus some 170 ECS moves can go via Jewlery Quarter and reverse at Langley Green

It's been discussed in the May 17 Timetable thread that some of these might not be exactly accurate. Not least 1V52 M-F is actually a Glasgow Central to Penzance.

I've been searching this forum without success - does anyone have diagrams for GWR, specifically the PAD - Evesham line? Located diagrams for the Class 180s but nothing else.

Specifically interested to know which services the 43002 'Sir Kenneth Grange' HST may be scheduled.

The place to look for HST diagrams is on the 125 group http://www.125group.org.uk/current-operators/first-great-western/.

You might be able to glean further information from the HST gen forum http://www.hstgen.co.uk or HST gen yahoo group
https://groups.yahoo.com/neo/groups/hstgen/conversations/messages by matching sightings to diagrams.
