The tests aren't as hard as you think, I bought books and did lots of research and found them quiet suppringly easy.

if you haven't heard by now then its over, the online test and/or sift has eliminated you

Guess that's it for me then. I've got a start date for LRV driver training with Metrolink, so looking forward to starting that.

Good luck to those of you through to next stage :)

Hi. New to here. I have been successful in getting to the first stage psychometric testing in June at Crewe. I was just wondering if anybody knows the duration of the day and also the run of play for the day. I've never done these tests before and from reading on here it's obvious quite a few of you have.
Steve

Steve,
Were you told during the call at the end of the interview that you were successful?
Has anyone else had any luck this far in getting to Crewe testing?

I wasn't directly told so, but from the conversation we had I was led to believe that that was the case. I was told I should get an email a week or so before the test date with details and prep tests etc. Hope this helps

Hi folks been lurking from the beginning of this thread, passed all my psychometric with fgw, been through telephone interview with FL, and had email to confirm that I was successful now waiting for final interview:D to say that I am happy is an understatement, just need to find out how they hold the final interviews, as in is it structured like other TOC's etc.

Congratulations

If it is anything like the FLHH DM interview, is it very laid back and simple. It was mainly things like:
- have i been on an intense training course
- will i be able to live off the reduced salary for the first year etc
- what do i know about the company and being a train driver

regards,
darryl

Got my pack, through the post. It says the testing is to be done at Watford - but the email, states Crewe, and supplies a full address of the venue. Obviously, I will make contact to confirm, but has anybody else had this as well?

Had a feeling it wasn't just one session today, there was an interesting mixture of people there in regards to current job roles/age but was a little surprised that it was all male.

I also heeded your advice and took the toll road lol think it was for the best as it looked like carnage on Google navigation. All the best to everyone else 5 days and counting...

How many were on the PM slot? There was 14/15 in the morning. There were two women with us. Fingers crossed for everyone who attended AM and PM. The waiting game begins!!

It was about 15 on the PM slot. Interestingly no females however.

Best of luck at Watford pal. One thing I will say is that the first part you sat is a walk in the park compared to what you do down there.
