Yeah which is a little light. But the game proved what i feared... :/
We rely on loan plahers which have gone now (ie ben marshall)
and that gary megon loves the long ball, which wont get us anywhere.

From my perspective this weekends football doesn't need to be discussed

....especially regarding Oldham Athletic who kept their dismal home form going with a 0-0 home draw against Exeter City who are two places below them in the league.

The way that they are playing at home would even make me worried if either Fort William or Strathspey from the Highland League suddenly turned up for a match..:roll:

Well Arsenal have lost eight games this season, the last time that happened Arsene 'WHO' wasn't even the catchphrase and the team finished 12th. With another dozen or so games to go that record will easily be beaten. Who was Rooney trying to kid when he said Arsenal are title contenders, if he said this at work i would request he is screened to see if he is on drugs!

I am begining to feel like what a Spuds fan felt like for many a year, season over by the end of January. Nothing to look forward untill the new season.

Oldham Athletic play the second leg of the Northern Final (two-legged) of the JP Trophy against Chesterfield with a 1-2 deficit. I did make a posting saying.... "Now most clubs would think that was not too bad a position to be in, but the general malaise that affects Oldham Athletic once they step out on the field at Boundary Park does not give much hope for the supporters. It is up to the manager to really motivate the team, as if they can win this match, they will be playing at Wembley against the winners of the Southern Final"....... and it will be interesting to see how they perform.

Mind you, one of those home draws was this weekend, against Aberdeen... and to make matters worse, West Ham and Liverpool are now both trying to prise Jelavic away...

Oi, Fort William for me encapsulate what is best about British sport. Plodding on year on year, always in the bottom two, getting tonked every week and still carrying on. And either playing with intense passion or complete lack of skill, to judge by the frequent flurries of bookings and sendings-off. Goal difference of -51 after 16 games. Only ten points behind the team above them, with six games in hand, the safe money is on them staying that way. That is heroism!

I am sorry for all the loyal fans of clubs run in this way, but surely there has to come a time when a club is seen as no longer viable. Remember that the debts referred to will not really include those to the local community - suppliers, stewards etc - as the bizarre rules of the FA allow "non-football" debts to be treated differently from "football" debts (ie those incurred on a nod and a wink and paid in Monopoly money). Also, this club has two ex-officials in court for fraud while at the club.
Not paying tax is stealing from the public. This club should be wound up

In case anyone doesn't know, not including my home team and my main team, Cardiff are #1. I'm not nearly into the business of sticking with only one team as most people are. I even tend to play as Cardiff on FIFA.

Will be great to see Cardiff in the Final; it really will. It would be even better to see them in the Prem, but that's another matter

It will also alleviate any issues there may be with the Valley Lines Challenge into Cardiff Central at the end of the day, because the City game should be rearranged to allow for Wembley.

I've lost the exact post in my Facebook feed, but a Barca victory over Real Madrid in tonight's Copa del Rey will put them ahead in victories between the two for the first time since the early 1930s.

Apparently 10 Barca players surrounded the referee in order to get Lassana Diarra dismissed tonight. Why doesn't that surprise me? :roll:
