Note: Another week passes and Arsenal have made the exact signings of NIL!. What is also bad news is that Patrick Viera joins that ever growing band of Manchester City backroom staff who all played for Arsenal at some time, are Arsenal now Manchester City's feeder club?
Well at least i know not to expect much from next season, like the god old days the discussion on the terraces will be 'I hope we get a top 10 finish', i hope we get a decent run in the FA Cup and hope that we dont lose to a 3rd division team in the League Cup.

Arsenal under the management of Arsene Wenger seem to hope that by keeping Sami Nasri and Cesc Fabregas, even if for one more season, will give them the final impetus to win a major title or cup.

The matter of certain players leaving for FREE as their contracts will be time-expired at the end of next season, is being ignored, which is a sign of utter desperation.

I think they are hoping that given one more season alongside the experienced heads, the likes of Wilshere and Ramsey will be able to step up as permanent first-team regulars and Fabregas & Nasri won't be missed

Arsenal were very poor today in their penultimate tour match, despite the claims of Arsene Wenger that their defence was now stronger. They only managed a 1-1 draw against Hangzhou Greentown in Yiwu City and made 11 changes at half-time.

Bayern Munich have signed the 22 year old German international defender, Jerome Boateng from Manchester City on a four year contract for an undisclosed fee.

At the last World Cup, he seemed to me to be a quite tall cultured player for a defender, who stuck in my mind as being a very good player indeed, but injuries had afflicted him since coming from Germany to play in England.

It is a shame to see Shay Given depart as he is an excellent keeper, sadly he has been on the bench for all but one game last season (the embarrassing league cup defeat to West Brom). I really hope Hart gets his (proverbial) wired because he had been a little bit off at one point last season, but then again he has also been amazing and got the golden glove to boot.

As for Tevez, he can go I'm past caring but I wish FIFA would do something about his agent and agents in general but this Kia bloke he is totally the female body part i'm thinking of which was (sort of) suggested earlier by XCDriver...

True but he wants to play as a different defensive position (I'm not sure which right now) however we already have excellent players in those areas. He said that he wants to be noticed and make an impact to keep himself in the national team and that he can't do that by playing out of position like City are forcing him to.
