That's right and my hammers were close but nowhere near consistent enough as they have hardly ever finished the season with a plus difference.I suppose it depends how you define “premier class”. If you said it meant not being a club where “our priority each season is getting 38 points and staying up”, maybe there are maybe 5 to 7 teams

But even Villa and Newcastle might not qualify, after all they’ve had relatively recent spells in the championship
So you have the top 5 then spurs who were last relegated 78 a year before or after yanited.
I'd just happily go with a top 5.
Maybe have 5 relegated so clubs would have to fight harder to stay up instead.
So sad for the teams coming up as the only winners are the owners and players etc. All 3 that came up went straight back down and it could be close again.
