7 years ago Wealdstone were at level 7 of the football pyramid. Scunthorpe were at level 3. Today the part time Stones completely outplayed their opponents in the National League and sit 14 points above them.

Was interesting to hear those commentators consistently running Messi down last night. Yes he's never really done it consistently for his country but he's still shown some genuine class as he did last night. Some shocks in the Scottish Cup yesterday. Div 1 Montrose were hammered 5-2 by non league Darvel, Div 1 FC Edinburgh lost 1-0 to Drumchapel and Div 2 Albion Rovers lost to Stirling University AET.

The FA Cup 3rd Round draw has brought up from cracking ties; not least Manchester City v Chelsea and Liverpool v Wolverhampton Wanderers.

And the last two games v Liverpool for my side in the Cup, in Round 4 in January 28th 2017 and in Round 3 on January 5th 2019, have resulted in two magnificent 2-1 wins for Wolves.

Possibly but as the round is held straight after the pile of xmas and new year fixtures and the squads fringe players needing games it's a perfect opportunity to rest the Word Cup players and play the reserves. With only £2,000,00 for the winner and £100,000,000 at stake for a place in the EPL even the championship clubs choose the most lucrative competition.

It's a habit for some.

It's not his fault some of England's individual attacking play was so mediocre in the first half. Thankfully they stepped up in the second half.

Kane a worry for me though. He looks injured as he has during other tournaments.

His pass for Foden though was ridiculous. Why he's our best player. Personally though he played really well this game.

England held the ball well in the first half, denied Wales any time with the ball and then really pressed at a high tempo when they DID get the ball. I thought the first half was decent.

I expected Wales to come out like a train and really batter England. They didn't have the ball often enough to leave the station!

If Exeter City won against Oxford at the weekend, we would've had a home tie vs Arsenal. As an Exeter and Spurs fan, I am thoroughly frustrated.
