First half has been very positive, and playing as a team. Someone on another social media commented that we've lost all the big names and brought in some lesser players and we've got a gelled team.

Half time 0-0 but some good attacking play. Lallana hit the post, and Alli fired a 1 on 1 with the keeper straight at the goalie. Germany playing very passively and no fire that I expect from them. I expect them to up their game in the 2nd half.

Ossett Albion 0...Hyde United 3

The recent increase in form at Hyde seems matched by a similar loss of form by Ossett. Hyde won this match quite easily and consolidated 10th place and the only league defeat they have suffered in the league in 2017 was by the odd goal in nine to the top side in the league.

Unfortunately for Ossett, they have now lost all four of their last league matches played and find themselves down in 19th position.

Other good point for Oldham who held top of table Sheff Utd at Boundary Park, I thought we performance well and match Sheff utd in whole game, Sheffield were poor today and knowing O'Shea scored very good equaliser goal for them they didn't really testing our goalkeeper that much.

Oldham move up one place to 18th now but still three points ahead of drop zone, I feel Oldham just need five/six more points in final 7 matches as I can't see Port Vale reaching 48 point mark.

Winchester City are now 7 games without a win in all competitions after going down to a resurgent Barnstaple side. The visitors went in front after just three minutes when defender Jamie Ford turned a cross into his own net. The game ebbed and flowed for the rest of the first half, with a City free kick being tipped over, and City started the second half brightly with Jamie Ford hitting the bar before the visitors doubled their lead with a soft penalty and sealed the win on the break. Barnstaple were reduced to ten men for a second yellow late on, but by then it was too little, too late.

Darlo slip to 7th in Conference North after a poor 3-3- draw at Gainsborough. We were leading 1-0 slipped to 1-3 down before salvaging a point with an eqauliser in the 6 the minute of injury time after a Dave Syers brace.

It was a very poor result against a side who haven't won since the last ice age and while we didn't lose much ground as other results went for us we gave away three really soft goals and our new keeper Adam Bartlett didn't have the best of debuts.

However with 7th to 3rd covered by there points and having a game in hand (Bradford PA this week) we have a good chance of getting back into the play off places.

How time flies when you get older. I remember watching Oldham Athletic play Bradford Park Avenue at Boundary Park in the Fourth Division in the late 1960s and it was only a few years after that Bradford Park Avenue went into liquidation and were ejected from the Football League.

they have been through some hard times (even in recent years) but are fighting back.

Before the game I said that, if Steven Fletcher started, Strachan should immediately be fired. We didn't have to come to that thankfully, but Berra deserved to start rather than Mulgrew, Cairney maybe or McGinn should have played instead of Scott Brown and it's a shame Ryan Fraser didn't play (even as a sub). Leigh Griffiths missed a couple of chances, but Naismith lacked edge when he came on. Chris Martin there are still doubts over, despite his winner - like most of the crowd I would have preferred Jordan Rhodes - but some signs of hope.

Obviously you didn't notice Halifax Town's unusual achievement last season. Won the F A Trophy and relegated relegated from the National League Premier.
York City could do the same this season.
