Can anyone explain why Vardy isn't playing? Arguably striker of the season in the Premier League...
No, only Hart is to blame. The free-kick Rooney conceded was miles out and shouldn't have been a problem. It also ignores the fact that Rooney has been England's best player again.

There is only one place he is effective and that is in Kane's position. Kane wasn't arguably the striker of the season, he was the striker of the season.

Rooney shouldn't have conceded the free kick but Hart was pathetic, how the hell did Sterling miss such an opportunity and as for Kane's free kick, Sunday league!

Heading back to London after two very enjoyable days in northern France. We were much better in the second half, just goes to show that we are much more of threat when we play with tempo. Looking forward to going back over for the Slovakia game.
I thought it was a decent performance overall from England, especially in the second half. The substitutions Hodgson made at half time were positive and they certainly had the desired effect. Sterling was poor again and he should have scored, but I thought Lallana had a good game and both of the full backs made good forward runs and got some decent crosses into the box. Credit to Rashford too, he played really well when he came on and I'm pleased he was given his chance because he didn't disappoint and got into good positions with the ball.
I'd start Sturridge instead of Sterling and Vardy instead of Kane against Slovakia, we can't afford to keep wasting chances like we did against Russia and Wales.

Manchester City will not be very pleased with the way that Sterling played in these first two matches and you can see why he was replaced by Jesus Navas in the Manchester City wing position for much of last season.
I think Sterling has been poor in both games so far and he should be on the bench for the game against Slovakia. I've seen Sturridge play some good games as a winger for Liverpool, I think he'd do well for England in that position as well.
He was onside when the England player played it, it came off Welsh bloke, so the offside line was when England played it not Welsh

England were the better side against Wales today. There were periods where Wales just kept getting deeper and deeper and every clearance just led to another England attack. It is difficult to play for long periods like that.

Whoever is Belgium's number 5 should go in the referees book for going down like a sack of potatoes from the most minor of touches. Why referees don't enforce the rules is beyond me.
I see the respect armbands on them but what I do not see is evidence of this
