If I hear another commentator say "no relation" about the Icelandic players with the same name I'll scream. Icelanders don't have proper surnames, so "Gylfi Sigurdsson" means "Gylfi, son of Sigurd".

I'd generally agree, though both mediums are tainted with Robbie Savage... I'd mute the tv and have radio commentary at home if only they were in sync, and my tv didn't interfere with my DAB radio!

We've signed Ched Evans. The last in a long line of decisions not in the best interest of the club and its reputation. I'm done.
I thought two changes were needed (Sturridge for Sterling, Vardy for Kane) at the most, six changes could be risky.

Evesham, following their appeal, have been reinstated into the Southern League and Cinderford have been forced to accept their promotion. Stamford's reprieve has been cancelled and Corby Town returned to the Northern League.

Finished 0-0 so Wales win the group. Congratulations to them.
It is shaming that England did not win a group with 3 less good teams in it and to finish second to another part of your own country is a disgrace and shaming.

Tonight, 30 shots, only 5 on target.
Three terrible teams in our group and we still couldn't win it.
Still, could get another rubbish team on Monday night, then probably France in Quarter Finals.

2nd place might be better for next round opposition. Looking at the draw, Wales get a 3rd place team from 1 of 3 groups, 2 of which in my opinion are the hardest groups. 2nd place go against 2nd place in what I believe to be weakest group
It's a bit disappointing not to win the group but I'd hardly call it a disgrace or shaming.

How so? Wales isn't part of England.
On another subject, prepare yourselves for hearing England fans saying 'it's only because they've got Bale' and 'without Bale we'd have thrashed them'. The truth of the matter is that Wales have got a really good team now. Players like Ben Davies and Ashley Williams and Ledley and Gunter and Allen - and Ramsey.
Wales look a team who know what their mates are doing! England is a collection of individuals who don't know what each other's doing in attack.

Maybe if England had a bit more humility and they and their media didn't go into every tournament bragging about how well they were going to do then they might actually do something.

Wales, Russia and Slovakia are three teams England should beat. Two wins and a draw is the minimum epxectation fomr that group.
The positives are we qualified but Germany, Italy, Spain etc would have won last night and secured an easier future passage. Wales have a really good chance of making the quarter finals while we have done what we always do and taken the hard road.
There are three ways of doing things in international football: The easy way, the hard way & the England way!
No one expects England to "do something" in a tournament - we just want a decent performance in the groups followed by glorious defeat in the quarter finals.
I don't know why i am frustrated by England, it is nothing new and something to be expected. I think what annoys me the most is that I have a sneaking suspicion Roy is happy to have secured a 0-0 v Slovakia! Then he is on the radio saying we couldn't not have done more. There is one more thing we could have done.................

Yes I agree and we should have beaten both Russia and Slovakia on the balance of play in both games, anyway we've qualified for the knock out stages and that's the main objective.

Agreed - we have made the next round and are unbeaten. We have played well but not scored but that means our future path is harder than it needed to be. I really don't know why i am so frustrated by this!

It could be good signing for you team special if he score 15/20 goals next season but do wonder how many Chesterfield season tickets holders will ask for refund now he sign for them?
Meanwhile at Oldham there report couple of days ago that Steve Evans were going be appoint as our new manager but rumours today is that he rejected job. Six weeks to go until new season start and found ourself with no manager and only six players on books, I fear that Oldham will end up getting relegated in 2016/17 season so we may give job to rookie and see what he can do.
