Well it at least looks like one South Yorkshire team will taste play-off glory this weekend...

Disclaimer - it was 3-1 when I set off to get my bus, if Millwall have recovered I will be shocked!

Millwall fans have, once again, disgraced themselves by starting a punch-up, chasing Barnsley fans around Wembley, assaulting police officers...

Pictures on twitter and online are shocking

Except those who now have to go to Millwall again next season :(

(Only joking, I'm glad Barnsley won. Although I should point out we did the double over them this season.... )

We'll be waiting

I'm sure you will. They may well take your place in the PL next season.

Did they buggery!

Wednesday went into the game full of a confidence they rarely showed on the pitch, their defence was lacking... Its surprising they did not lose by a greater amount

Do us a favour and explain your use of the word 'buggery'.

Are you daft or what, Scott?

Not daft. And, although I personally want Hull to stay up, we'll remember this if they go down.

OK. Please could you explain your use of the word 'buggery'?

Certainly...

Up in Yorkshire, a lot of people use the word in place of others to mean something did not take place or happen.

eg; "There was supposed to be a special running between Manchester and York, but was there buggery!"

A slightly less offensive synonym would be "heck as like" eg: "Leeds Fans reckon they're Champions of Europe, are they heck as like!".

As I was walking around a shop in Bristol looking for a birthday pressie for my son, I heard an advert played over the shop's PA system. The deal was, buy XXX before the start of the euro competition and if England win the title, you get your money back.

I couldn't help but smile. A pretty safe bet on their behalf I thought.

So we should expect odds of at least 5000-1 from the bookies

I'm sure that they can do that; but I hope that they also come 20th or higher, with MK Dons preferably below them...

And Garry Monk goes to Leeds. That should see him alright until October.....

Leeds seems a good place to go..., 2-3 years wages for 2-3 months work!

The only thing of interest in the first half was Bruno Alves tribute to Eric Cantona, recreating Cantonas most famous moment on Harry Kane!

Anyone got any score predictions for the England Portugal friendly? It's been close, although Port are a man down.

A typical commuter-belt part of north-west England
I got bored of it.
But would we rather play dull and win. Probably!

Were you enthralled by the wave after wave of free-flowing England attacks throughout the game that were inspired by their totally creative silky-smooth skill midfield skills.....or did you wake up and settle for the dross that was actually served up in reality....<(

Definitely the latter. We seem to have a lot of good players who don't fit together or play out of position trying to ensure teachers favourite gets in.
Rooney was supposed to be the tip of the diamond, but kept pushing far forward forcing Kane and vardy wide which wipes out our biggest goal scoring threats.

To be fair on reflection we did have a fair few good attacks, but the final ball came short due to not being on the same wavelength or out of position players,

Maybe the tactic is to bore the opposition to sleep, and then sneak goals whilst they're snoozing.
If England win the tournament playing boring football nobody will mind, and let's be fair we keep winning games now, but the collapse is due,

I watched the England game for a while, but to be honest I was pleased when Mrs Greenback wanted to turn it over to Peaky Blinders...

Even Clive Tyldesley seemed bored, and desperate to try and convince everyone that it was an interesting match. Did he see sense and give up later in the game?
