It does seem odd that the two offences produce the same punishment, given the potential injuries that an elbow to the throat could cause compared to a tug of the hair...

Yes Fellaini has a bad rep but this is based on this incident only. If the FA want to investigate other incidents and award sanctions then they are welcome to do so but you can't up the sanction for one incident based on stuff that hasn't been properly investigated.

Quite happy for Burton as they are Leicester of League one, don't think Walsall will do it in Play offs as I fancy Millwall to get promoted via Play offs.

As a Derby fan I think there are four things worth mentioning here;

Man Utd need to beat Bournemouth and hope Man City lose to Swansea on Sunday to have any hope of qualified for Champions league, would utd fans prefer they fail to qualified for UCL so Van Gaal get boot as if they finish in top 4 surely he will still be there next season?

Ugly scenes marred West Ham's last game at Upton Park as Manchester United's coach was attacked before the match.
Bottles were thrown, smashing the coach's glass as police escorted the visitors and kick-off was delayed.
The Football Association "condemned the unsavoury incidents", adding it will also investigate objects being thrown during the game by home supporters.

They need to start docking points for these sorts of incidents. Although the vast majority of football fans are well behaved, I do not believe some clubs do enough to deal with the significant problems posed by a minority.

(And before I get attacked - again - and anyone claims I know nothing about football and yada yada, I'm actually related to a former West Ham captain, have been to more than half of 'the 92' grounds and I doubt many people on this forum get paid to do anything to do with football. So there )
