True, but I meant with your disappearing manager
Still here AFAIK

We're still ****!
Perhaps it is fortunate that you have no jurisdiction over the setting of prison sentences.

Yet the money-grabbing greedy pigs still had the nerve to charge £37 for a nothing game.![]()
Are you turned on by the prospect of a 50 year old sleeping with a 14 year old for instance?
Would the men on here at the age of 15 consider they had been abused if a 28 year old attractive wealthy woman had taken an interest in them and encouraged them to participate in carnal activities that were illegal. My hunch is that a good proportion (me included) would not have been able to believe their luck.
So by the same token if Johnson appeals and his sentence is reduced should the judge who passed the 6 six year sentence have no further jurisdiction over the setting of prison sentences?
Still having a party
Who needs Rooney?![]()
Very lucky to have been in Berlin tonight to see a largely young and inexperienced team play very well against Germany. Now having to console my eldest son who is a German national! Even though he's 28 he's not too old to have a arm round him.
Well done England. Maybe the Euro's won't be a disaster after all. Need to improve our concentration in defence though.
I assume he would not be pleased with a rousing version of "Who Put The Ball in The German's Net"?
Watching the come back and utter demolition of Germany was a pleasure to watch

"Always Look On The Bright Side" was played at the end and that put a smile on his face![]()
Ha ha ha
Tell him it could have been worse and, when he says how, tell him that England could have scored "Nein"
Hi,
The OP asked 'So, anyone else like football?'
Short answer, no not me.
Long answer is that I don't like any sport! Sorry to sound boring but that's how I am. I think that I should add that I don't have a problem with people who love there sport and I work with plenty of people who do but I'm afraid it doesn't do anything for me.
I've only just read this thread as the title put me off!
I can honestly say that I have never been to or watched on TV any sporting event from start to finish even individual events in say the World Cup or the Olympics.
I keep telling the wife how lucky she is to have the TV all to her self when all this is going on but I don't think she quite realises it.
I do get annoyed with people who 'pretend' to like sport (usually football) and tell me 'I should get behind the (local/national) team' when they are in a big final. Sometimes the same people who don't go to/watch regular games and I'm quite certain don't even know the rules!
Rant over, sorry about that.
Just to add that I do have plenty of interests outside Railways but, as you can see sport is not one of them.

Hi,
I don't want this to turn into a platform of match analysis etc, or indeed a place for talking about how awful it is, but something that has just cropped into my mind is how many rail enthusiatsts actually like the beautiful game too?
I can think of a few members on here, yet trains and footy never seem to be two things that go together...
So, anyone else like football?
Matt
I always feel a bit sorry for people who don't like sport. Any sport. I don't think there is anything else that can give such highs of pleasure and lows of despair than sport. That can be any sport not just football.
Imagine never knowing what its like to feel the ecstasy of your team snatching a last minute winner or achieving a unlikely promotion. I remember the feeling I had leaving Wembley earlier this year after Villa overcome Liverpool in surprise circumstances. I wouldn't swop that for anything
unless their 'sport', is trolling, perhaps...
