Oh dear. what a set up
5 Chelsea booked, 1 Man Utd.
If Dowd is so poor, how will his association view matters? Will suitable sanctions be awarded against him?
In the end yes, one for taking shirt off.
Look when I posted, it was 1 at the time. I await an apology after that post
I wonder when the last time an official had "suitable sanctions" awarded against them for poor officiating? I reckon it's not in my life time (1988)
edit: I do remember a referee getting demoted once. I shall leave this post as testament to my stupidity![]()

If Aston Villa beat QPR this evening, they will move up from 15th to 9th in the Premiership.
Gosport v Colchester
Chorley/Halifax v Bradford
Warrington v Exeter
Weston-Super-Mare v Doncaster
Norton/Shildon v Gateshead
Stevenage v Maidstone United
Bury v Nuneaton or Hemel Hempstead
Plymouth v AFC Fylde
Hartlepool v East Thurrock
Coventry v Worcester City
Canvey Island/Havant & Waterlooville v Preston
One of my sillier thoughts, after watching the Cup draw and thinking about part time non-League footballers, is it just me or is there some unofficial rule that require lower non-League teams to have a postman in the team, there always seems to be postman in most teams, there also seems to be quite a few plumbers, binmen and teachers...
I need to get laid I think, instead of being daft![]()
Postmen (and binmen) finish work early, and don't often work all day at weekends, so it's easy for them to get to training and matches. Plumbers are often self-employed so they can take a few hours off.

Aye, lol...The postie will be quite fit as well, I have observed quite a few Policemen as well(no, I am not thinking about Met Police FC) and the teacher will make a comment like 'My pupils will be watching and will no doubt take the p... on monday morning'
Another observation I made, when a part time non-League team gets a 3rd Round Glamour tie, The Sun will reward the keeper on how long he keeps a clean sheet and will send the P3 girls round for a photoshoot...
I love the FA Cup for things like this, most big teams dont care so much about it, but I still find something special about the 3rd Round and Cup Final day

Currently, about half of the Conference Premiership teams are full time, a factor in why they often do so well when promoted to league two.

Logical, really![]()

Wayne Rooney or Stevie G catching a bus hahaha...That would be some sightThe late great Tom Finney was a plumber by trade and often worked on a Saturday morning before getting the bus to Deepdale when Preston NE were playing at home. This when he was also a regular in the England team.
Somehow I suspect the likes of Gerrard and Rooney wouldn't know one end of a box spanner from another, or be able to handle the stress of travelling alone on the bus to a game.![]()
Poor Man City, not been a good week for them.
Derby v Chelsea
Tottenham v Newcastle
Bournemouth v Liverpool
Sheffield United v Southampton
Good chance for an upset on the South Coast?
Well, if the team take the same attitude as those on koptalk then I wouldn't bet against it the way we are playing at the moment.
However I have a lot of time for Brendan Rogers and I think he will treat this as seriously as any other game, so the chance of an upset is small, but never say never.
It's been a crazy few weeks. The team are finally gelling so only good things to come I reckon.

I think Stuart Pearce was a plumber or an electrician as well, I remember hom saying in his book he did work away from football and would also take up ad space in Forest Programmes
