I looked at the English Premiership league table on completion of the Sunday fixtures and was amazed to see which side now occupies the fourth place in that league.

I think that North Lodge Park has a capacity around the 2,000 mark, so perhaps you will try to get one of the best places to watch the match.

Formartine United have had a very good start to the season and are in second place in the Highland League, only one point behind the league leaders, Brora Rangers.

I see first time in nearly year that Man Utd are into top 4 places, amazing really as I thought they were in top 4 back in November/December last year but it seen not.

Hartlepool 0-3 Carlisle

Colin Cooper resigned as manager of Hartlepool United after this game in which Hartlepool also went bottom of League Two.

No but at most HL Grounds you get a decent local pie and cakes that are reasonably priced.

Also more importantly there are few smoking regulations outwith the main stand - if they even have one

I see Chorley had two players sent off and Hyde scored penalty in 90th mins to draw match 3-3.

Also seen like good point for Hyde too special as Chorley sit 2nd places in Conference North division.

To be fair, Chorley had 11 players on the field until the 88th minute and one of those two very late dismissals led to the penalty being awarded to Hyde from which the equalising goal was scored.

It seems crazy given all the hype about how bad they are and yet they are still 4th in the table. You could argue they have played some pretty bad teams though. I actually have them rated third on goal supremacy ratings (Chelsea miles clear, City, United, Arsenal, Liverpool, Spurs, Everton, Southampton, Swansea, Stoke).

It was in the early part of this season when you made this posting, but I note that after a recent run of bad results, Scunthorpe United have now sacked their manager, Russ Wilcox, and his assistant, John Schofield/

The injuries* didn't help, that's for certain, as Wilcox has not been able to name a consistant starting 11 all season. (Side note. Of the starting 11 in the recent match at Oldham, none were involved in the 2-0 win away to Mansfield at the start of the year. Also some of the subs were not involved either.)

However, he did say in preseason that he should be judged on results, and if he isn't getting them, then it is upto the board to decide.

Add on a few other players carrying slight injuries, and some who have just returned from injury, and you can see how they have affected the club.

He surely hasn't gone from League 2 manager of the season to sackable in a few weeks.

To be fair, there was a lot of luck involved in the record breaking unbeaten run last season, but also a lot of defensive frailties as well. If you look at the number of draws in the run, it's not quite as impressive! (14 wins and 14 draws), especially when you consider the number of goals conceded in the last couple of minutes to snatch a draw from certain victory !!!!

In other games during the run, we were completely outplayed (for example, at home to Fleetwood live on Sky), and to be brutally honest, if it wasn't for Sam Winnall, I think we wouldn't have made the play-offs ....

He surely hasn't gone from League 2 manager of the season to sackable in a few weeks.

There's got to be something behind the scenes. Perhaps the manager stating he was unable to do better without more cash or not playing the chairman's favourites

It is sad to report that the injury to the young Everton defender, John Stones, is much worse than first thought, as he will be out for between 10 to 14 weeks, as it has been confirmed that he needs ankle surgery.

We did have the magnificent Sean O'Driscoll at Crawley, his reign was not exactly successful but at least he had an unbeaten record, joined in May 2012 and left in July 2012 without managing a competitive match
