I wonder if the England football management have now learned any lessons from these two friendly matches that they did not already know in their onward planning for the next World Cup ?
The problem with UK football for many years has been the obsession with fitness & work rate at the expense of ball skill.
It is pointless being able to keep running for 90+ minutes if you can't do something creative / productive when you get the ball. We need a huge improvement in passing accuracy, and lots more practice in shooting at goal from all angles (including penalty taking.)
and Celtic are heading out of Uefa Champion League as they are losing 3-0 to AC Milan.
