I notice the Leeds fans who normally are so critical of every Leeds performance haven't posted at all following a good away victory at Charlton yesterday. Be nice to hear the positives from them about their team, as well as their negativity we normally get from them about their team.

It was a strange game. It was delayed 30 minutes which was actually a good thing because i'd missed my train and only made it to the Valley at 3.15pm.

(a railway enthusiast missing a train, pathetic eh)

The pitch was just a boggy mess, as I got in the stadium pre match warm ups were just finishing with lots of head shaking.

We played ok, not any better than that. Our defending for the 2nd goal was horrific, it's worth seeing if you can. We owe a huge debt to Ross McCormack who scored all 4 and will no doubt now be sold in Jan.

Dexter Blackstock, Danny Pugh and Rudy Austin were our other stand out performers.

MOD NOTE - The remainder of this post has been split into this thread.

Played the get out of jail free card yesterday, but it's a trip to Tyneside for the replay and then away to Wrexham if we win that. As we're unbeaten away this season in the league (and only lost to Charlton in the league cup), I'm quietly confident of a win on penalties...

Aleast you can watch the replay if you don't going to Gateshead as Gateshead v Oxford will be show on BT Channel on Wednesday 20th November.

http://www.thefa.com/TheFACup/News/2013/Nov/fa-cup-televised-ties-replays-second-round-121113.aspx

Oldham should win the replay with Wolves as our form for a long time in cup competitions has been absolutely abysmal.

I'm afraid we're a club in decline with a terrible owner who is desperate to get out but can't find anybody stupid enough to buy us.

Molineux is now a morgue for most home games, It's a shame because once I used to enjoy going.

I hope Oldham do win the replay but if Wolves put out they best team then I can't seeing Latics winning the replay, it good that Wolves have put price down as it only £10 for Adults and Over-65's, under-21, under-17 and under-12 for £5 that if Latics fans buy ticket before the travel to Molineux as is extra three pound if they pay on the day. :)

http://www.oldhamathletic.co.uk/news/article/20131112-wolvestickets-1170424.aspx

Oldham are in action tonight against Notts County in JPT Northern section QF, it be great if Oldham can win this game as it be one more step to Wembley but I can seeing County winning this game maybe on penalty shootout :( If Oldham do win then I hope Rochdale beat Chesterfield as it be good draw if it Rochdale v Oldham in SF of JPT and I sure we will take many fans to spotland for that game too. :D

I see Bury football ground Gigg Lane have been rename for first time in Bury fc history and will be called JD Sports.
--- old post above --- --- new post below ---

Full Time: Oldham 5 yes five Notts County 1 :D

Can't you f**king believe I miss my three home game in four/five years and all three games I miss Latics have won all three, maybe that hint saying don't go to watch Latics anymore and they won more games.

Wembley Wembley Oldham are going Wembley if win next three JPT games Wembley Wembley. :D

I see Hyde lose 4-0 to Halifax tonight, will they every win match this season?

Unfortunately, I have to find somewhere that has BT Sport... :(

You may need found somewhere that got BT Channel as Oxford FA Cup second game will be show live on BT Channel also (that if they beat Gateshead in replay).

Bury/Cambridge v Sheff Utd - live on BT Channel on Sunday 8th December at 12pm

Wrexham v Oxford/Gateshead - live on BT Channel on Monday 9th December at 19:45pm.

http://www.thefa.com/TheFACup/News/2013/Nov/fa-cup-second-round-bt-sport.aspx

Nice to see Bury been on TV if they beat Cambridge as they will receive £72,000 in broadcast fees and that be big boost for Bury football club.

Shocked that BT Channel wanted to show Wrexham v Oxford/Gateshead ties as what if it is Wrexham v Gateshead, how many people will want to watch non league team v non league team in R2 of FA Cup?

England 0...Chile 2

No real surprise considering the squad players which were announced as being withdrawn on a daily basis in the lead up to this match.

Do England have talent in depth from the under-21 squad to promote who will be able to rise to the occasion when set to play against the better teams in world football ?

Always good, nonetheless, to see the hype balloon of the British sports media being suitably deflated.

Hyde was winning 2-0 against Woking but like always this season, Hyde end up losing 3-2, it probably get worse for Hyde as former player Scott Hogan now plays for Rochdale score his seven goal for Rochdale this season in 2-1 win against Morecambe this afternoon, I bet Hyde wish he was still they players for this season.

JPT SF Full draw.

Northern section

OLDHAM v Chesterfield
Fleetwood v Rotherham

Southern section

Swindon v Stevenage
Newport v Peterborough

I'm happy that Latics got home ties and we should beat Chesterfield but Chesterfield are doing well in League Two this season so wouldn't be easy game for Latics.
--- old post above --- --- new post below ---

What about Tameside club (no not Hyde) but Droylsden who plays in Northern Premier League Premier Division (seven ties of football) Droylsden have played 16 games this season, won 0 draw 2 and lose 14, only score 9 goal and let in 60 goals already this season and even lose 10-0 to AFC Fylde last Saturday. Surely they are now worse then Fort William.

I see Droylsden fc still haven't won this season as they lose 7-3 in today game against Skelmersdale and also lose 3-0 to Blyth Spartans on 5th November, not looking good for ours Tameside clubs this season. :(

Perhaps you need Eddie Mitchell back. He might just bring you a Russian sugar daddy. ;)

At least Droylsden got a result, even if it was a defeat. It looks like Alty will have to replay our match against the foreigners (Colwyn Bay), after the referee got injured 83 minutes in. We were comfortably 2-0 up, and the referee was asking for someone in the stands to step up as a liner. The only person qualified was smashed out of his skull. He then asked for someone from the benches. Alty's assistant offered. Frank Sinclair (Colwyns manager) refused. The ref asked then for someone specifically from Colwyns bench. They refused to offer anyone. Match abandoned.

Looks like the FA have ordered it be replayed.

The Football Association have confirmed that Saturday's abandoned FA Trophy tie between Colwyn Bay and Altrincham will be replayed in full on Tuesday.

The first attempt to stage the game was called off after 83 minutes, with Altrincham leading 2-0, when referee Mark Ackerman suffered an injury.

Colwyn Bay rejected two alternative officials that were put forward.

One way to try to win a game.

To be fair it's the rules of the competition that said it has to be played on or before the following Thursday if its abandoned or postponed due to no fault of either club. It says nothing about recommencing the match from the position of the abandonment so following FA rules a full match has to be replayed, which is a shame.

Brackley pull off an upset in the FA Cup 1st round replay by beating Gillingham (63 places above them) with a 21st minute strike from Glen Walker. Brackley are now in the 2nd round of the FA Cup for the first time. Well done the Saints.

I often wonder what would happen if there were no national teams playing in co-ordinated tournaments but just playing occasional ad-hoc friendly matches, as the growth in club tournaments seems to fulfil this function.

Brackley probably dessert the win last night given they were only 30 sec away from beating Gillingham in First round 10 days ago, I see Brackley now got Macclesfield in Round 2 in which I sure Macclesfield fans will happy with that as they should beat Brackley on 7th December and may got big premiership in Round 3. (Not Man City or Man Utd because Oldham will get one of Manchester club in Round 3 :))

forget about England v Germany match the big match tonight is Wolves v Oldham in FA Cup First round replay, whoever wins that will be at home to Mansfield in Round 2, I can seeing Wolves winning this match but if Oldham play like they did 10 day ago (against Wolves) then I sure Oldham can get victory at Molineux and move into Round 2 of FA Cup. :)

Brackley have now got the honour of being destroyed by Scunthorpe loanee Connor Jennings in round 2 :P

What utter tosh! The match of the night is of course Scunthorpe United v Grimsby Town for the right to host Northampton in round 2 :P

COME ON. I hope Oldham don't lost to Mansfield in Round 2 if Oldham hang on to this lead

I told you last week the Wolves would lose, the manager has decided that cup matches are unimportant.

Shame for the 5k who still paid to go.

Can't believe they was only 4,226 fans at Molineux tonight given is only £10 too. :o

Too little too late as Wolves score to make it 1-2.

EDIT: Full time Oldham won 2-1 :)

Scunthorpe are out of FA Cup as they lose to Grimsby 2-1 but heartbreak for Boreham wood are Carlisle scored in 95th mins to win the game 2-1.

This one could turn out to be more even than some people think. If they're capable of beating Gillingham over two matches .........................................
