Bad tackles, hand balls, Carver losing his head, Beasujour scoring a goal. It would be easier to ask what didn't happen at Wigan yesterday.
I was watching the game live and I didn't realise how bad the tackle was at first. On replay it looks horrific and it sounds like the Newcastle player has quite a severe injury.
It will be interesting to see what action the FA take, I presume they will do something about it and I wonder how it may affect Wigan's survival fight as that player was instrumental in yesterday's victory and also the win in the cup over Everton.
With QPR showing a bit of form, Wigan picking up a vital three points and Villa getting crucial win i've noticed that a certain team from the North East with a criminally overrated manager has slipped very close to the relagation zone.

Do I take it that "Fergie time" is now a universal gift to ALL teams playing at home in the Premiership ?
Fergie time is extra time added on beyond the alloted time displayed by the 4the official. Obviously their is incidents, subs that mean the ref has too legitimatley add on extra seconds to the game but sometimes it goes beyond that. The fact that 'Fergie Time' is an accepted event within football nowadays and it's dealt with in a trivial, jovial manner is highly disturbing but totally expected.

Absolutely! What do you reckon the chances are of him staying with us in the summer though?
On this basis that he didn't even know where Birmingham was and hadn't heard of Aston Villa F.C. before he signed leads me to believe he'll have no loyalty and will jump at the best offer.
That said, i'm sure a nice 20mil in the bank will appease the Villans.
